Rent a car with driver to BatangasExperience the Beauty of the Batangas Beaches

Located near the capital of the Philippines, Batangas is a popular destination spot for those who are vacationing and area locals. With activities for everyone, tasty food and cultural sites, a trip to Batangas is sure to hit the spot. One of the best things to do when visiting Batangas is hang out at the local beaches. Here are a few of the best in the area. A private rent a car with driver from Manila to Batangas can take you to any of them. The drive is short enough (roughly 2.5 hrs.) for a day trip only if you need to be back in Manila in the evening or for the next days work.

Laiya Beach in San Juan

Laiya Beach is San Juan’s nicest beach. If you choose to visit this region, then you’ll be flying into the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, which is also called the Manila International Airport, so don’t be confused if locals refer to it by either name. While there are bus companies that offer transportation, you should consider adding a little luxury to your trip by hiring a private car with driver from Manila to Batangas. That way, you can just relax and enjoy the scenery.

Head to Laiya Beach if you prefer to vacation in a spot that’s a little isolated. It features soft white sand and plenty of space to relax in it. This beach isn’t as crowded as some of the others in the area. As far as accommodations go, there are a number of them to choose from ranging from high-end resorts to ones that are budget friendly. We recommend the Blue Coral Beach Resort, Kabayan Resort or the Laiya White Cove.

This beach is close to several restaurants. There are also food stalls where you can try Batangas specialties such as lomi, goto and bulalo. While vacationing here, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of activities. For instance, rent a boat to explore the area’s caves or go kayaking. Fly fishing is another fun activity that you can do if you decide to go to Laiya Beach. The destination also offers scuba diving and snorkeling. If you’re a vacationer who likes to explore, then go for a hike up Mount Daguldul. Once you reach the peak, you’ll be in for amazing views. Mount Hugom is another great place to hike in the area.

You may have to pay an entrance fee depending on where you decide to stay, so be sure to check on this when making reservations.

Nasugbu Beach

As one of the biggest municipalities in Batangas, Nasugbu Beach offers space. It’s pretty too. While the town center is located in the middle of an agricultural plain, the surrounding area features mountain ranges and numerous pristine coves. Some of the coves are owned by private clubs and villages like Punta Fuego, Hamilo Coast and the Bali Beach Subdivision. To use them, you would need to book a stay at one of their villas. They are among the fancier places to stay in the area. If your budget is on the conservative side, then there are more affordable accommodations.

Nasugbu Beach includes a number of public beaches and harbor fishing settlements. Camp sites are available if you’re interested in getting in touch with nature. Some of the locals rent rooms out to travelers for a small fee. This option comes with the opportunity to see the area from the viewpoint of a local. If you prefer to stay in a resort, we recommend the Canyon Cove Hotel and Spa, Calayo Green Terraces and Pico Sands Hotel.

The best time to plan a trip to Nasugbu Beach is from November through May. These months are typically dry with very little rainfall. If you want to be there when it’s extremely warm, then go from March through May. However, this is when the area’s schools are out for a break and the local population tends to visit for weekend holidays, so there may be more tourists there during these months. To reach Nasugbu Beach, be sure to rent a car with driver Manila to Batangas. Doing so makes getting there stress-free. In addition to hanging out at the beach, you’re sure to have fun diving off a cliff or looking at fish as you snorkel. Swimming in warm ocean waters is always a memorable way to spend a vacation, so be sure to take advantage of it during your stay at Nasugbu Beach. When it comes to cuisine, try the destination’s seafood, Spanish cuisine and Mediterranean dishes.

Matabungkay Beach in Lian

With its white sand and crystal-clear water, Matabungkay Beach is a tropical destination that offers solitude. Stretching out for five kilometers, there’s plenty of room for long walks. Here, you’ll be able to participate in a number of water activities including snorkeling, swimming and stand up paddle boarding. Several of the resorts have boats that they use to take guests out to some of the area’s best snorkeling spots. This is a place where you can go cove hopping. Also, be sure to check out the floating bamboo raft cottage, which is one of the area’s most unique experiences.

If you pick Matabungkay Beach as your travel destination, you’ll have the opportunity to stay at resorts like the Al Fresco, Al Pader or Coral Beach Club. Food choices are diverse, and you’ll come across restaurants that serve your favorites including Chinese, Filipino food and even Italian. You can pick up a few snacks from one of the small markets in the area if you want to spend entire days enjoying the beach.

Burot Beach in Calatagan

While travelers tend to flock to Nasugbu and Lian, Calatagan has long been overlooked. This is a great thing for you since it offers more breathing room than some of the other destinations. Burot Beach is on the western side of the coast, making it a bit off the radar. Those who decide to make Burot Beach their vacation spot often pitch a tent and sleep on the sand under the stars. If you prefer to sleep in a bed at night, then there are resorts available. Make reservations at the Sunrise Cove Calatagan Beach, Calatagan Rest House or the Anciano Beach House.

For your trips to Burot Beach, plan to bring food with you. There are a number of small markets where you can pick up snacks. The Coral Beach Club Restaurant is nearby, and it’s the perfect place for dinner. This little pub serves Asian cuisine. Order the grilled pork belly, bulalo or tilapia.

Along with traditional beach activities like sunbathing and playing in the ocean waters, while staying at Burot Beach in Calatagan, you can tour the Punta de Santiago Lighthouse. It’s 51 feet tall and made from white and red brick. A stop here gives you the chance to bring home amazing pictures.
